Is 5 days in London enough?
Five days is the length most visitors wish they had booked. It is enough for every headline sight in the city and for the two or three famous places outside it.
City days and country days
Royal Westminster and the Tower stay in every plan, and the other days go to the places people fly across the world to see: Stonehenge, Bath, the Cotswolds or Windsor.
City and countryside take turns
No two long drives fall back to back. A day out of town is followed by a London day with short hops, so nobody spends the week tired in the back seat.
Room for a slow morning
With five days you can drop a museum, sleep in once, or spend an afternoon shopping without losing a landmark from the list.
Only three days to spare? Our 3-day London itinerary with a chauffeur keeps the two key city days and adds one trip out. With four days, the 4 days in London programme by car adds the Cotswolds and Bath.

Different days, a gap mid-week, or a week built around your interests
Send your dates and wishes; we reply with a fixed price for the whole car within the hour.
Every price covers five full days of car and chauffeur, fuel, parking, road tolls and the Congestion Charge. Extra hours can be added on the form.
Four or more travellers usually choose the V-Class, which seats seven with luggage. Couples on a special trip pick the S-Class for its reclining rear seats.
Want to sleep outside London, in the Cotswolds or Bath, and end at a cruise port? That is our multi-day England tour with overnight stays.

What is included in the 5-day programme?
The total covers everything the car and the driver need for the week. Only tickets and meals are left for you.
The same chauffeur all week
Wherever possible one driver covers all five days, learns your routine by day two, and sends you a mobile number the evening before you start.
Door to door, every day
Pickup and drop-off at any London hotel, apartment or house, and a drop at a restaurant instead if you have dinner plans.
Fuel, parking and charges
Motorway miles to Bath and the Cotswolds, parking at every stop, the Congestion Charge and the ULEZ are all part of the price.
Child seats and luggage space
Child seats are fitted free on request. Shopping bags and coats stay locked in the car while you visit.
Entry tickets are not included. Stonehenge, the Tower, Windsor Castle and the Studio Tour all sell timed tickets online; book them once your dates are confirmed.

What if it rains during your 5 days in London?
Showers come and go, and the car is never more than a short walk away. Each type of day has an indoor version, so the week keeps its shape.
On a London day
Swap the parks for the National Gallery and the British Museum, both free, or the covered halls of Leadenhall and Borough Market.
At Stonehenge and Bath
The visitor centre has a museum and café beside the stones. In Bath, the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey are under cover, and the Pump Room serves lunch.
Country days
Burford’s medieval church and antique shops, and a fireside lunch in a village pub, make a wet Cotswolds day cosy. At Windsor, the State Apartments fill a rainy morning.
If a whole day looks stormy, tell your chauffeur the night before; a city day and a country day can usually swap places within the week.
How do you plan 5 days in London with kids?
Five days lets children rest between big outings. The Families programme was built for this, and these tips work with any of the three plans.
- Put the studios on day two
Excitement is highest early in the trip, and a morning slot at Leavesden leaves time for a quiet evening before the Tower.
- Keep one short day
Ask your chauffeur to finish by mid-afternoon once in the week. Unused hours inside a day cost nothing extra.
- Plan picnics on country days
Windsor’s Long Walk, the village green at Bourton-on-the-Water and Parade Gardens in Bath are good places for children to run.
- Choose the V-Class
Seven seats, a pushchair in the back and free child seats make five days of short hops easy for parents.

Where should you eat during a 5-day London trip?
Lunch is planned into every day’s route. These are well-known choices close to each stop, all bookable or walk-in.
In London
Rules in Covent Garden is the city’s oldest restaurant, and Borough Market suits the Tower day. In Greenwich, the covered market sits beside the Cutty Sark.
In Bath
The Pump Room serves lunch above the Roman Baths, and Sally Lunn’s, in one of the oldest houses in Bath, is known for its Bath bun.
Bibury, Burford and Windsor
In Bibury, the riverside hotel serves lunch with a view of the trout stream; Burford has old coaching inns. In Windsor, eat on Peascod Street or in Eton.

Dinner is yours to choose. If you would like the car for an evening out as well, add hours on the booking form.
Which day should a 5-day London trip start?
The order of the days is designed around opening times. Choosing the right first morning is the one decision that matters.
- Start on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
With day one on any of these, every sight in all three programmes is open on the day it falls. That includes the Abbey, St Paul’s and Windsor Castle.
- Pick Monday or Wednesday for the guards
The Changing of the Guard usually runs on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings. The Household Division publishes the exact dates each month.
- Book Stonehenge before anything else
Entry is by timed ticket from English Heritage, and summer slots sell out first. Choose a 10:00 or 10:30 slot to match the drive.
- Mind the Windsor closing days
The castle closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and sometimes at short notice for state events. We check your dates when you book.
- Rest on the arrival day
After a long-haul flight, keep the first evening free and start the programme the next morning.

Any season works, because the car keeps you dry between stops. Summer brings Cotswolds gardens in bloom and long evenings; December brings Christmas lights in the West End.

Questions about 5 days in London with a private driver
How should I split 5 days in London?
Spend two or three days in the city and the rest outside it. Keep Westminster and the Tower for London days, and use the others for Stonehenge and Bath, the Cotswolds, Windsor or the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Alternating city and countryside days keeps the long drives apart and the week relaxed.
How much does a 5-day London programme with a chauffeur cost?
Prices are per car for all five days, not per person. In the Mercedes E-Class, the programme with Bath, Bibury and Windsor costs £2,210, and the Families week with a day at the studios costs £1,880. Fuel, parking and road charges are included.
Do the five days have to be consecutive?
The online programme runs on five days in a row from the date you choose, at the same pickup time each morning. If you need a free day in the middle or different start times, use the Contact us card and we will send a fixed price for your exact dates.
Is the chauffeur also a tour guide?
No. Your chauffeur is a professional driver who knows the routes, closures and photo stops, and will share tips on the way, but does not guide inside the sights. A qualified guide can join any day for an extra charge if you would like commentary.
Can we change the plan during the week?
Yes, within each day’s hours. Swap a museum for shopping, stay longer at a castle or skip a stop, and simply tell your chauffeur. Changing a whole day, for example from the Cotswolds to Oxford, needs a message to us so we can confirm the price.
Which sights should we book before we travel?
Book the timed tickets for Stonehenge, the Tower of London and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour as soon as your dates are fixed, since popular slots sell out. Windsor Castle usually has space on the day outside school holidays, and the Cotswolds villages need no tickets.
Can I cancel, and how do I pay?
Yes. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, with any card payment refunded in full; inside 24 hours the fare is charged. Pay by card on the booking form, or choose cash and pay your chauffeur in pounds sterling on the first morning.
