How the day runs
Departure from your hotel
Your driver arrives at your London hotel entrance at the time you chose, between 8:00am and 12:00 noon. The drive to Woburn takes around an hour and a quarter.
The Road Safari — in your own car
The heart of the day: your Mercedes joins the safari route and drives slowly through the enclosures — lions, tigers, bears, rhinos and wolves metres from the glass. Your driver handles the route; you handle the camera.
The Foot Safari
The walking half of the park: penguins, lemurs, giraffes and the keeper talks and feeding times posted for the day. Lunch at the café inside.
Woburn Abbey and its deer park optional
A short drive away, the stately home of the Dukes of Bedford sits in a park of wandering deer — an elegant end to an animal-filled day.
Back to your hotel
Your driver returns you to the same address you started from, at the time you decide.

Know before you go
- Buy park tickets online before you go. Online tickets are cheaper than the gate price — book them on the park’s official website for your chosen date.
- The monkey section is optional. One enclosure on the Road Safari is home to monkeys that climb on cars; a bypass route exists and your driver will take it unless you ask otherwise.
- The Road Safari can be driven more than once. Entry allows repeat circuits on the same day — if the lions were sleeping the first time, go round again.
- Mornings are best for animal activity. The animals are most active in the cooler hours — an earlier departure rewards you at the enclosures.
