Chessington lies inside our London zone, so it takes the city day rate. Legoland is priced as the Marlow & Windsor day trip, because the park is two miles from Windsor town. Thorpe Park takes the same day rate as Chessington; Peppa Pig World follows the distance bands the booking form uses.
Pickups at Heathrow work the same way. Legoland is 12 miles from Terminal 5 and Thorpe Park 7 miles; an arrival-day visit is easy to plan.

Which theme park suits our children’s ages?
Peppa Pig World for the under-sixes and Legoland from about three to twelve. Chessington suits mixed ages; Thorpe Park is for teenagers who want the big rides.
- Legoland Windsor — more than 55 rides and attractions built for young children. The park publishes a height limit for every ride; most start at 90 cm.
- Chessington — a theme park, a zoo with more than 1,000 animals and a SEA LIFE aquarium on one ticket. Good when ages range from three to thirteen.

How far is Thorpe Park from London by car?
Thorpe Park is 24 miles from Mayfair, near Chertsey in Surrey. In light traffic the drive takes about 45 minutes; on a busy M25 morning allow up to an hour and a quarter.
- The route:west out of London to the M25, off at junction 11 or 13, then the A320 to the Staines Road entrance, the one with the big coaster track over it.
- Drop-off at the gate:the driver sets the family down by the main entrance, then parks in the resort’s paid car park. The parking fee is already in your price.
- Arrive before opening:10:00 is the usual opening; aim to be there 20 to 30 minutes earlier. Thorpe Park publishes its hours by date, so check the calendar for your day.

- Height limits:measure the children before you choose the park; Legoland and Thorpe Park publish a minimum height for every ride.
- Seasons:the parks run reduced calendars from November to February. Thorpe Park’s Fright Nights in October run into the evening, so plan a later pickup.
- Rain:Legoland and Chessington are largely outdoors. A spare set of clothes in the car is the reason many parents give for booking a waiting driver.
How do we beat the queues at the park?
Arrive before the gates open and head for the headline rides first. With a driver waiting on site, the rest of the day runs to the children’s pace, not a return time.

Does the driver really wait at the park the whole day?
Yes. The eight-hour price covers the drive out, the whole visit and the drive back. The car stays in the park’s car park for as long as you stay, with no fixed return time. Message the driver from the exit and the car is at the pickup point within minutes.
How long is the drive from London to Legoland Windsor?

Can we combine Legoland with Windsor Castle in one day?
Yes, at the Legoland day price. The park is two miles from the castle, so a castle morning and a Legoland afternoon fit the eight hours. Leave London by 08:00. Tell us at booking and the plan is written with both stops and their timings.
What happens if we stay longer than eight hours?
The extra time is added to your written quote. On Thorpe Park’s Fright Nights dates the park runs to 21:00, so we quote a longer day in advance. A shorter visit does not reduce the package price.
Are child seats included, and can we bring a pushchair?
Yes to both. Infant, toddler and booster seats are fitted before pickup at no charge; give us the children’s ages when you book. A folded pushchair rides in the boot of the V-Class with room to spare. The car is your base for spare clothes and snacks all day.
Can I cancel, and how do I pay?
Yes. Cancel at least 24 hours before pickup and any card payment is refunded in full; inside 24 hours the fare is charged. Pay by card in the booking form when you book, or choose cash and settle with the driver in pounds sterling on the day.
Can you do a day trip to Legoland from London?
Yes, a full Legoland day fits comfortably. Your driver collects you at the hotel at about 08:30, so you reach the gates for opening. The car stays at the park while you ride, then brings the family home in the evening.
