Every London day and the Windsor day include up to 8 hours. The Stonehenge and Bath day runs about 10 hours and the Cotswolds day about 9, both inside the price, with nothing added on top.
Dollar figures are approximate; you are charged in GBP.
- Included Pickup and drop-off at any London hotel, apartment or house each day; fuel, parking near each stop, the Congestion Charge, ULEZ and tolls; waiting while you visit; and changing a stop within the day’s hours.
- Not included Entry tickets, meals and hotels. Airport runs are booked as a separate airport transfer; land the day before day one, so all five days stay sightseeing days.
- Book ahead Westminster Abbey, the Tower’s morning entry slot, St Paul’s and Windsor Castle for your dates, and the Studio Tour, which sells only timed tickets in advance. Stonehenge tickets are for a date, not a time slot: arrive at any time and stay as long as you like within opening hours; they cost less booked online by midnight the day before.

What a family spends on tickets
Adult and child entry prices from each attraction’s own website, checked on 26 October 2026; they change during the year. The Tower of London, Windsor Castle and Stonehenge price by date: check them when you book.
What does a 5-day London itinerary look like?
Here is the 5-day London itinerary, day by day, with a 09:00 start; pickup can be any time from 08:00 to noon. Every time below includes the drive before it and can shift a little with traffic. Day one and the Tower day are the same in all three programmes; the cards after them show the days that differ.
Start on a Monday to Thursday. Day one then avoids Sunday, when the Abbey is closed to sightseers, the St Paul’s day falls on a day it opens, and the Windsor day lands between Thursday and Monday, when the castle is open.
Westminster and royal London
- 09:00 Pickup at your hotel, then Westminster Bridge for Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
- 09:45 Westminster Abbey, a 5-minute walk from the bridge, about an hour inside; it is closed to sightseers on Sundays.
- 11:00 Buckingham Palace and The Mall, about 15 minutes on foot along Birdcage Walk. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday the Changing of the Guard usually starts here at 11:00.
- 12:15 St James’s Park and its pelicans, a 15-minute stroll across; your chauffeur meets you on the far side at Horse Guards.
- 13:00 Trafalgar Square, 5 minutes on foot from Horse Guards, and lunch, then the National Gallery or Covent Garden, 10 minutes’ walk away; back at your hotel at 17:00.
The Tower, St Paul’s and the river
- 09:00 Pickup, about 30 minutes to the Tower of London. See the Crown Jewels first, then the White Tower and the Yeoman Warders, about 2 hours 30 minutes.
- 12:00 Tower Bridge, a 5-minute walk from the Tower, then lunch at Borough Market, about 15 minutes along the river.
- 14:30 St Paul’s Cathedral, about 10 minutes from the market by car, open to sightseers Monday to Saturday, and the Millennium Bridge. Families can swap it for Tower Bridge’s glass walkway.
- 16:00 Tate Modern, 10 minutes’ walk over the Millennium Bridge, or the South Bank; the car collects you by the river, back by 17:00.
Stonehenge and Bath, the Cotswolds, then Windsor
- Day 2 Leave at 08:00 and reach Stonehenge at about 10:00, two hours west; then Bath at about 13:00, an hour’s drive on, for the Roman Baths, the Abbey, Pulteney Bridge and the Royal Crescent, all within a 15-minute walk of each other. Leave at 15:30, back at about 18:00 after 2 hours 30 minutes on the road: a 10-hour day.
- Day 4 Leave at 09:00 for Burford, about two hours away, then Bibury and Arlington Row at 11:30, 20 minutes on, and lunch and Bourton-on-the-Water from 13:00, 25 minutes from Bibury. Leave at 16:00, back by about 18:00: a 9-hour day. The villages need no tickets.
- Day 5 Leave at 09:00, about an hour to Windsor: the Long Walk, then Windsor Castle and St George’s Chapel from 10:00. Lunch in Windsor or in Eton just across the footbridge, then Marlow on the Thames, half an hour’s drive; back by 17:00. The castle opens Thursday to Monday.
Each country day is also sold on its own: Stonehenge and Bath by private car, or the Cotswolds and Bibury day trip.
The Harry Potter Studios, Windsor and the dinosaurs
- Day 2 The Warner Bros. Studio Tour at Leavesden, under an hour from central London. Your chauffeur sets the pickup around your timed entry and waits for the whole visit, usually 3 to 4 hours inside.
- Day 4 Leave at 09:00, about an hour to Windsor Castle, then lunch by the river in Eton, five minutes’ walk over the bridge; back at your hotel by about 16:00, a shorter day before the last one.
- Day 5 The Natural History Museum and its dinosaurs from 10:00, free to enter, then the Diana Memorial Playground in Kensington Gardens, about 10 minutes away by car; back by 17:00.
The studio day is also sold alone: Harry Potter Studio Tour by private car.
Kensington, Greenwich, then Bloomsbury and Camden
- Day 3 Kensington Palace and its gardens, Harrods in Knightsbridge, then the painted houses of Notting Hill. The stops sit 10 to 15 minutes apart by car, and the car carries the shopping.
- Day 4 About 45 minutes east to Greenwich: the Cutty Sark and, five minutes’ walk away, the National Maritime Museum, open daily from 10:00 to 17:00, then Canary Wharf, a 15-minute drive. The Royal Observatory is closed for building work from 2 November 2026 until summer 2027.
- Day 5 The British Museum, free to enter, then Camden Market, the Abbey Road crossing and the view from Parliament Hill on Hampstead Heath, each about 15 to 20 minutes on by car.

What should you see in London in 5 days, and what can you skip?
- Do not miss Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Tower and the Crown Jewels, and St Paul’s: all on the Westminster day and the Tower day of every programme. Add Stonehenge and Bath for England outside London, or the studios for children.
- Skip A second paid viewpoint: the London Eye and the Shard show the same skyline, so pick one. Oxford Street’s chain stores, when Covent Garden and Marylebone suit a short shopping hour. And two famous trips on one day: Stonehenge and the Cotswolds are kept apart, with London in between.
- Seen it before? Keep one morning for an old favourite and give the rest to Greenwich, Notting Hill and Hampstead, or a day trip such as Hampton Court and Kew. Tell us what you saw last time and we plan a week without repeats.
- Evenings Touring ends around 17:00, or 18:00 after a country day, so every evening is yours: a West End show after a city day, an early night after the Bath day. The car can stay for a late dinner as an extra hour.

Is 5 days in London enough, or will 3 or 4 do?
Five days is enough for London’s headline sights plus two or three famous places outside it, without a rushed day. With less time, our 3-day London itinerary keeps the two big city days and adds one more, and the 4 days in London programme adds Oxford and Windsor or the Cotswolds and Bath.

How do you plan 5 days in London with kids, at an easy pace or in winter?
- With children The Families programme puts the Studio Tour on day two, while excitement is high, and keeps day four short. The V‑Class seats seven, takes a pushchair beside the luggage and becomes a quiet place for a nap.
- An easier pace Plan two main sights a day; your chauffeur drops you at each entrance and collects you at the exit. Five London days has no long drives. At Stonehenge a shuttle bus runs from the visitor centre to the stones. Tell us about a folding wheelchair when you book.
- In the rain Longer inside the Abbey and the Tower, or in the British Museum and the National Gallery, both free; the Roman Baths are under cover. If heavy rain is forecast on a country day, tell your chauffeur the evening before and a London day can usually swap in.
- In winter From November to January it is dark by about 4pm, so the Cotswolds villages and the Long Walk come first. Bath Christmas Market runs from 26 November to 13 December 2026, and Hyde Park Winter Wonderland from 19 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, except Christmas Day. Most sights close on at least one day between 24 and 26 December; the car runs on Christmas Day.
- Where to stay One central hotel for all five nights is easiest, as the chauffeur collects you from the same door. Kensington, Marylebone and Paddington sit closest to the roads west to Bath, the Cotswolds and Windsor.

Review published on Google MapsQuestions about 5 days in London with a private driver
Is 5 days in London enough?
Yes, for a first visit: two days for Westminster, the Tower and St Paul’s, and three for Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds, the Harry Potter Studios or more of London.
Is it the same chauffeur on all five days?
Yes, we keep one chauffeur for the whole programme wherever possible, and they plan each morning around the entry times you add to your booking notes. The car class you booked stays the same on all five days.
Are the longer country days included in the price?
Yes. Both are in the programme price; extra hours start only after about 10 hours on the Stonehenge and Bath day, 9 on the Cotswolds day and 8 on any other day.
How much is an extra hour for a show or a late dinner?
On Five London days each extra hour is £45 in the E‑Class, £60 in the V‑Class, £70 in the S‑Class and £80 in the Range Rover. On Families and on London, Bath, Bibury & Windsor it is £55 in the E‑Class, £60 in the V‑Class and £80 in the S‑Class. Add them on the booking form.
Are child seats free?
Yes. Baby seats, child seats and boosters for every age are fitted free on request. Tell us the children’s ages when you book, and the seats are in the car from the first morning to the last.
Do the five days have to be in a row?
Online, yes: five days in a row at one pickup time. For a rest day between them or different start times, send us your dates and we reply within the hour with one fixed price.
Is this a London tour package with hotel and flights?
No. You get a private car and chauffeur for five full days, with the route planned; you book your own hotel and flights, and your chauffeur collects you there each morning. Your chauffeur is a driver, not a tour guide inside the sights.
Are entry tickets included?
No. You buy tickets only for the sights you want, once your dates are confirmed, and your chauffeur plans each day around your entry times.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, with any card payment refunded in full; inside 24 hours only the first day is charged, and the other four days are refunded in full.
How do I pay?
By card on the booking form, or in cash or by card to your chauffeur on the first morning.
