One driver and one car for 3, 5 or 7 days in England.
The Cotswolds, Bath and Stonehenge from London, with the same chauffeur every day.
- 3 days from £1,545 · 5 days from £2,655 per car
UK-licensedTripyana’s England tour from London means one chauffeur and one Mercedes for 3, 5 or 7 days through the Cotswolds, Bath, Stonehenge or the Lake District. Three days cost from £1,545 per car, five days from £2,655, driver’s overnights included. It ends in London, at Heathrow or at Southampton cruise port. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
What does the England tour price include?
One chauffeur, one car and one written price for every day of the programme. Four things come with every booking:
The same driver every day
Your chauffeur meets you on day 1 and stays to the last drop-off. The cases ride in the boot from hotel to hotel.
Pickup at your door, at your time
Any London hotel or Heathrow terminal on day 1. Later days start at your hotel at the hour you set.
Up to 8 hours a day, stops included
Each touring day covers 8 hours door to door. Village, viewpoint and lunch stops within them cost nothing extra.
Driver’s nights, fuel and parking
£100 for each night away from London covers the chauffeur’s hotel and meals. Fuel, parking and tolls are in the price too.
Watch the three days before you book
A short film that follows the programme day by day: your London pickup, three Cotswolds villages, a whole day in Bath, Stonehenge, then your ship at Southampton or your London hotel, with the car and what the price covers.

What does a 5-day England itinerary look like?

- Day 5 Stonehenge at 10:00, then Southampton by 13:00, London by 14:30, or Heathrow by about 13:45, which suits an evening flight.

What does a 7-day England itinerary look like?
Seven days add the Lake District and York to the first two days of the 3-day plan, with five hotels and the same car. Seven days are priced the same way as three and five, and the figure comes with your plan.
London → the Cotswolds → Bath
- Day 1 As the 3-day plan: Burford, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water, a night in the Cotswolds.
- Day 2 Bath by 10:30 and the rest of the day in the city.
Bath → the Lake District
- 09:00 Check-out in Bath.

- 11:30 York: the Minster, then the Shambles and the city walls on foot.
York, then London or Heathrow
- Day 6 A free day in York; the car is there for Castle Howard or the coast if you want it.
- Day 7 Leave York at 09:00 and reach London or Heathrow about 4 hours 30 minutes later.
Ten days, or another region
Each region below adds two or three days to the plans above, with the same chauffeur and car. Every extra night adds the driver’s overnight allowance.
- Cornwall and Devon From Stonehenge, Exeter is about 2 hours west, then Dartmoor, St Ives and Land’s End. Allow three nights, because St Ives sits about 5 hours from London.
- Chester and Liverpool A natural stop between Stratford and the Lake District: Chester’s Roman walls, then 45 minutes to Liverpool for the Royal Albert Dock and the Cavern Club.
- Cambridge About 1 hour 30 minutes from London, on the first day or on the drive north towards York.
- Kent and the Sussex coast Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral, then Dover’s White Cliffs and the Seven Sisters, ending in London or at Gatwick.
- Into Scotland Glasgow is about 2 hours 30 minutes beyond the Lakes. The driver’s nights in Scotland cost £249; see our Scotland tours from London by private car.
Fewer days? Two work if you skip the Bath night: the villages on day 1, then Bath and Stonehenge on day 2 and London by evening. With one day only, take the Cotswolds tour from London or the Stonehenge and Bath day trip.
For one region at a slower pace, the 5-day Cotswolds tour from Heathrow stays in the villages, and the Lake District tour from London goes straight north.
Move hotels or keep one London base? A London base suits Windsor, Oxford and the nearer Cotswolds villages: you unpack once. Overnights pay off once the route reaches Bath, Stratford, York or the Lakes, because more of each day goes on the places rather than the drive back.

Can the tour follow England’s castles and stately homes?
Yes. A five-day country house route links Highclere, Blenheim, Warwick, Chatsworth and Castle Howard, with one chauffeur and car from start to finish.
1 · Highclere Castle, from London
The real Downton Abbey, about 1 hour 30 minutes west in Hampshire. Night: Oxford
2 · Blenheim Palace → Warwick Castle
Churchill’s birthplace first, the medieval walls and towers after lunch. Night: Stratford-upon-Avon
3 · Stratford → Chatsworth
About 2 hours north to the Peak District, with the house and its gardens filling the afternoon. Night: Bakewell area
4 · Chatsworth → Castle Howard → York
Around 2 hours to the Howard family estate, 15 miles north-east of York. Night: York
5 · York → London or Heathrow
The Minster before the crowds, then the drive south. Night: home
Dates decide this route. Highclere opens to visitors only on dates the castle announces, mostly in summer; its Christmas tours run from 3 to 6 December 2026, and tickets usually sell out early. We set day 1 once you hold your tickets, or swap in Windsor Castle; our Highclere Castle and Downton Abbey day trip lists the dates we know. You book the house tickets; we time each drive around your entry slots.

A Range Rover for the whole tour or a longer route is quoted with the itinerary, never added afterwards.
A luxury England tour is the same programme in the S‑Class or a Range Rover. Pair it with a country-house hotel in the Cotswolds and a Georgian townhouse in Bath, and the chauffeur stays with you from the first hotel door to the last.

How do I book?
Send your dates and route
Tap Get a fixed quote and tell us the dates, the towns, how many travellers and cases, and where you start and finish.
Receive the plan and one price
We reply with a day-by-day plan and one written total for the whole car, the driver’s nights inside it. Change anything before you confirm.
Confirm and meet your chauffeur
Pay to hold the dates, and your chauffeur collects you at the agreed time on day 1.
Can the tour end at Southampton for a cruise?
Yes. Southampton has five cruise terminals, City, Ocean, Horizon, Mayflower and QEII, and your chauffeur drops you at the door of the one your ship uses. The cases go straight to the porters.
The last day is planned backwards from your ship’s latest check-in time. On the plans above you leave Stonehenge at noon and reach the terminal around 13:00; if check-in closes earlier, you leave Bath earlier for Stonehenge’s first entry slot, or the stones drop out.
Flying in to join a ship? The tour can start in Heathrow arrivals instead of London, and a one-day version runs Heathrow → Stonehenge → the terminal, as on our Heathrow to Southampton transfer via Stonehenge.
The programme also runs in reverse: the chauffeur meets you at the terminal on disembarkation morning, and the tour ends in London or at Heathrow.

Who is a private England tour best for?
Anyone who wants England at their own pace, above all older travellers, families and couples. The car waits at every stop, and nothing is fixed before you book: you choose the hotels, the pace and how long each stop lasts.
- Older travellers Hotel-door pickup, drop-offs as close to each sight as stopping is allowed, and a rest stop whenever you ask.
- Families The 7-seat V‑Class keeps everyone in one car, and child seats for all ages are fitted free on request.
- Couples An E‑Class or S‑Class for two, a later start, and longer in Bath when the day allows.
- Larger parties Two cars travel to one schedule, each with its own chauffeur.
- Limited mobility Our cars have no ramp or lift, so the passenger needs to move onto the seat; a folding wheelchair travels in the boot. The Stonehenge visitor centre and stone circle and most of the Roman Baths’ ground floor are step-free, and a companion enters both free.
- Christmas and New Year We drive through the festive season, Christmas Day included. The Roman Baths close on 25 and 26 December; Bath Christmas Market runs from 26 November to 13 December 2026, and York’s from 12 November to 21 December.
Want to swap a village or stay longer at the Roman Baths? Tell the chauffeur the evening before, within that day’s 8 hours. Anything that needs extra hours or another night is priced for you first.

Questions about an England tour from London
How much does a 5-day or 7-day England tour cost?
Five days cost from £2,655 per car in an E‑Class, £3,070 in a V‑Class or £4,045 in an S‑Class, the driver’s four nights included. Seven days are priced the same way, day rates plus the driver’s nights.
Are the driver’s hotel, fuel and parking included?
Yes. £100 a night covers the chauffeur’s hotel and meals away from London, and fuel, parking and tolls are inside the price, with nothing added on top. Your own hotels, meals and attraction tickets are not included.
How many hours a day does the car drive, and what if we run over?
Each touring day covers up to 8 hours door to door. On the 3-day and 5-day routes most drives take under 1 hour 30 minutes, the longest about 2 hours 30 minutes. The 7-day plan has two long travel days: Bath to Windermere, about 5 hours, and York to London, about 4 hours 30 minutes. An extra hour costs £55 (E‑Class), £60 (V‑Class) or £80 (S‑Class), agreed before it is added.
Do you book our hotels, and where should we stay?
No. You book them, and we plan each day’s driving around their addresses. A village hotel in Bourton, Burford or Stow keeps the Cotswolds night close to the next morning’s stops, and central Bath keeps the evening walkable. The 5-day plan adds Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon.
Will we reach our ship at Southampton in time?
Yes. Send the ship name and the latest check-in time when you book, and the last day is planned backwards from it, with time to spare at the terminal.
Which car fits a cruise family’s luggage?
The Mercedes V‑Class, with 7 seats and room for 7 large cases. A couple with two cases fits the E‑Class or S‑Class, and a Range Rover takes 4 travellers and 4 cases.
What if our flight is late, or we need to cancel?
For a Heathrow start, send the flight number and the pickup follows the actual landing time. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup on day 1.
Is the driver also a tour guide?
No. Your chauffeur drives, waits at every stop and knows the roads, but does not give commentary. A qualified guide can join for the places you choose, such as Stonehenge or a walk around Bath, at a separate price.
How many days do we need to see England from London?
Three days cover the Cotswolds villages, Bath and Stonehenge at a comfortable pace. Five add Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Stratford-upon-Avon. Seven to ten days reach the Lake District and York, or Cornwall and Devon.
Should we hire a car and drive ourselves instead?
You can, but England drives on the left, Cotswold lanes are narrow, and parking in the villages and in Bath fills early. With a chauffeur, nobody drives after a long flight, the cases stay locked in the car, and you are set down at each entrance.
One chauffeur, one car, every day of your England tour.
Send the dates and the outline; we reply with a single written price for every day. Single days out are on our day trips from London by private driver page.
