Heathrow straight to the circuit
Silverstone is 67 miles from Heathrow. The chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name board and drives north; your luggage rides with you.
The circuit’s address is Silverstone Circuit, Towcester, Northamptonshire NN12 8TN. From Mayfair the road distance is 69 miles; from Luton Airport 42 miles.
The circuit warns of roadworks on the A43 between Towcester and Silverstone, so we plan the timing with margin. Event car parks open up to half an hour before the gates.
When is the 2027 British Grand Prix, and when should we book the car?
The 2027 dates have not been announced by the circuit yet; the official site says so and lists the 2027 event as coming. Book the car as soon as your tickets are confirmed: cars are allocated in order of booking.

Five friends with day bags travel comfortably in a V-Class; seating and boot details are on the Mercedes V-Class page. Every started hour counts as a full hour, so a twelve-hour Sunday is the package plus three hours.
Where does the chauffeur drop us and wait at Silverstone?
At the closest set-down the event traffic plan allows, then in the event car park. Silverstone is a rural circuit: on Grand Prix weekend the roads around it run on a signed one-way plan with marshals at every junction.
- Set-down:the chauffeur follows the event signage to the drop-off nearest your gate; from the car parks the walk to the main gates can take up to 30 minutes.
- Waiting:the car parks in the public event car park booked with your car; it does not circle the lanes.
