The 2026 Revival runs 18 to 20 September at the Motor Circuit; 2027 dates follow on the official site. Chauffeur-driven cars set down at Car Park D, and the parking is free from 07:00.
Glorious Goodwood race day
Gates open at 11:00, the first race is at 13:50 and the last around 17:55. A 09:30 pickup and a 20:00 return fit the package.
Goodwood House and the Festival hill are at PO18 0PX, the Motor Circuit at PO18 0PH. The racecourse sits on the Downs above, all on one estate outside Chichester in West Sussex.
From Heathrow the estate is 57 miles, so guests landing in the morning can be on the hill by lunchtime. On event days the estate asks drivers to follow the signed routes rather than the sat nav.
When are the 2027 Goodwood events, and when should we book the car?
The estate has published two 2027 dates so far. The Festival of Speed runs 15 to 18 July 2027; the Qatar Goodwood Festival at the racecourse runs 27 to 31 July 2027. Book the car once your tickets are confirmed: cars are allocated in order of booking.

The estate warns that its grass car parks may not suit low cars; the Range Rover takes them without a thought, and the V-Class carries six with room for coats. A longer Festival day is added hour by hour at the rate shown in your written quote.
Where does the chauffeur drop us and wait at Goodwood?
At the drop-off point the estate names for chauffeur-driven cars, then in the event car park. Each event publishes its own traffic plan, and the chauffeur follows the event signage to the point below.
- Festival of Speed:Gate 1 is the designated drop-off and pick-up area; car parks are free, open from 06:30 and on grassland.
- Revival:Car Park D is the drop-off and pick-up area at the Motor Circuit; parking is free from 07:00 and overnight parking is forbidden.
- Racecourse:free and paid car parks by the entrance, including picnic car parks along the course; the chauffeur waits in the public car park.
- Meeting point:agreed by message before you leave: the same gate you came in by and a time; the car is there five minutes early.

Dress differs by event, the ground is grass, and the estate is large. Four things settle most questions.
- Revival dress:period clothing from the 1948 to 1966 era is encouraged and most visitors wear it; the estate’s vintage-style guide shows what works.

- Children:under-13s enter the Revival free and 13 to 21s at half price; children under two need no Festival grandstand pass.
