- From £230 per car · up to 4 hours
UK-licensedLondon by night with Tripyana: a private drive past the illuminated landmarks in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes, from £230 per car. The 4-hour loop starts at your hotel after dinner: Westminster, Tower Bridge and the West End, with photo stops. A 7-hour evening with dinner is £350. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
What does a private London night tour include?
One Mercedes and one chauffeur for the whole evening; fuel, parking and central London driving charges are inside the price. No tickets and no queues.
Your start time, your door
The chauffeur waits at the hotel or the restaurant at the minute you choose. Most evenings begin between 19:00 and 21:00; the 4 hours run from that pickup.
Photo stops on the bridges
Westminster Bridge for Big Ben, the south bank for Tower Bridge and the Shard, Trafalgar Square for the fountains. The car parks close by; you walk 2–3 minutes.
A route you can change
The loop below is the usual order; swap in Harrods, Canary Wharf or a late dessert stop in Knightsbridge while the clock runs.
The whole car, one price
Up to 3 passengers in the E-Class or S-Class and 7 in the V-Class. Children ride free and child seats are fitted on request.
Which London landmarks look best at night from the car?
The river. Nine central London bridges are lit nightly from dusk until 2am by the Illuminated River artwork. The Thames is the spine of the route; Big Ben, Parliament and Tower Bridge are floodlit on the same stretch.
Away from the water, Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street and The Mall form the West End part of the loop. From mid-November to early January Regent Street adds its festive lights; our guide to London during Christmas lists what else is on.

| Landmark | Where the car stops | After dark |
|---|---|---|
| Buckingham Palace and The Mall | Drive-past | Floodlit palace front and the Victoria Memorial |
| Big Ben and Parliament | Westminster Bridge, 15-minute stop | Lit clock faces reflected in the river |
| London Eye and the Shard | Drive-past along the South Bank | The wheel in colour, the tower lit to its spire |
| Tower Bridge and the Tower of London | South bank by City Hall, 20-minute stop | Both towers floodlit; bridge lifts on published evenings |
| St Paul’s and the City | Drive-past on Ludgate Hill | The dome above the office towers |
| Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus | Trafalgar Square, 10-minute stop | Fountains, the National Gallery, the Piccadilly screens |
How does a 4-hour London night tour run, hour by hour?
The chauffeur collects you at the hotel at your chosen time and stays with you until the last drop. A typical evening from a Mayfair or Knightsbridge hotel:
| Time | Where you are | What the chauffeur does |
|---|---|---|
| 20:00 | Pickup at your hotel door | Sets the route with you |
| 20:15 | The Mall and Buckingham Palace | Slow drive-past |
| 20:35 | Westminster Bridge | Parks nearby; 15 minutes for Big Ben photos |
| 21:05 | South Bank and London Bridge | Drives past the London Eye and the Shard |
| 21:30 | Tower Bridge, south bank | Parks by City Hall; 20 minutes on foot |
| 22:10 | St Paul’s and the City | Loops Ludgate Hill and the Bank junction |
| 22:35 | Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus | 10-minute stop, then Regent Street |
| 23:15 | Dessert in Knightsbridge, or the hotel | Waits, then drops you at the door before 24:00 |
Four hours covers the loop with three stops and one café break. The dinner version adds the restaurant: the chauffeur drops you, waits, and the loop starts when you walk out.
How much does a London by night tour by private car cost?
The price depends on the car and the hours, never on the number of stops or passengers. The cards show the four-hour price for each car; the table adds the dinner version and the extra-hour rate.

These are the same hourly rates as our car hire with driver in London, applied to an evening. A family of four to seven travels together in the Mercedes V-Class; couples usually take the E-Class or the S-Class.

When is the best time of year for a night tour of London?
Any month works, because the loop is watched from a warm car. In winter the city is dark by late afternoon, so a 17:00 start brings you back for dinner. In June and July the same block starts around 21:00.
The festive lights on Regent Street and Oxford Street run from mid-November into early January. Those are the busiest evenings of the year, so book early; cars are allocated in order of booking. Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is on the same route from mid-November.
The Congestion Charge runs 07:00–18:00 on weekdays and 12:00–18:00 at weekends, so most evenings fall outside it. Whenever it applies, it is inside our price; the start time changes the traffic, not the fare.

What should we know before booking an evening chauffeur tour?
- Four hours is the minimumthe clock runs from the first pickup to the last drop, waiting included. Every started hour counts as a full hour.
- No tickets, no guide feesevery stop is a public bridge, square or pavement. The chauffeur drives and points things out; he is not a licensed tour guide.
- Bridge liftsTower Bridge publishes its lift times weeks ahead; if one falls inside your evening, tell us and we time the stop for it.
- Dress for the bridgesthe three photo stops are outdoors for 10–20 minutes each; in winter bring a coat, the car is warm between them.
- Children and Ramadan eveningschild seats come free when you give the ages. During Ramadan the start follows your iftar; an Arabic-speaking chauffeur is available on request, subject to availability.
To see the same landmarks in daylight, with time inside them, book our private London tour by car.

Frequently asked questions about the London night tour
How much does a London by night tour cost for a private car?
From £230 per car for the 4-hour evening in a Mercedes E-Class, then £45 for each further hour. The table above lists the V-Class, S-Class and Range Rover figures and the dinner version. The price is for the whole car, not per person.
What time does the night tour start and how long does it last?
You choose the start time; most pickups are between 19:00 and 21:00 and the tour lasts 4 hours from there. In winter a 17:00 start already sees the landmarks lit. The dinner version starts with a restaurant drop and the loop begins afterwards.
Can we get out of the car for photos?
Yes, at three stops: Westminster Bridge for Big Ben, the south bank by City Hall for Tower Bridge, and Trafalgar Square. The chauffeur parks close by and waits; each stop is 10 to 20 minutes and all three are inside the 4 hours.
Is the night tour suitable for children and families?
Yes. A family of up to 7 travels in the V-Class, with child seats fitted when you tell us the ages. The stops are short walks on flat pavements. Many families book after an early dinner and are back at the hotel by 23:00.
Does the driver act as a guide, and do we need tickets?
The chauffeur drives, times the stops and points out the landmarks, but he is not a licensed tour guide. No tickets are needed: every landmark is viewed from a bridge, a square or the street. The river bridges stay lit until 2am.
Can we cancel, and who operates the tour?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. The car, the chauffeur and the price are all ours: Tripyana Ltd is a UK-licensed company — private hire operator licence PHOP950 · Company No. 16308293. Book online for four hours or send a request for a longer programme.
