What is included

What does a Heathrow to Bath transfer include?

A single Mercedes covers the 100 miles of M4 between your terminal and your Bath address, inbound or outbound. You never switch cars halfway. Fuel, the long motorway run west and airport parking are all in the price. Each Bath booking includes:

Met inside your terminal

Your chauffeur stands past the customs doors with your name on a board. The cases then go out to the car for the run west.

Flight tracked, waiting included

Long-haul flights into Heathrow often land early or late. We track yours and set the pickup by actual touchdown; the first 60 minutes of waiting cost nothing.

Any Bath address

A hotel near the Royal Crescent, a house on Lansdown, the University of Bath at Claverton Down or the Royal United Hospital. The drop is where you say.

One fare for the whole car

You pay for the car. One traveler or three pay the same E-Class fare, with room for 2 large cases. A V-Class takes 7 people and 7 cases to Bath. Child seats are free.

Meeting point

Where does the chauffeur meet me at Heathrow?

Tripyana chauffeur greeting a guest with a name board in the Heathrow arrivals hall

Right outside customs, in the public arrivals hall of Terminal 2, 3, 4 or 5. You need not work out which one. Your flight number tells us, and the chauffeur goes to that exit.

Every terminal is a few minutes from the M4, which runs straight west toward Bath. So the fare hardly changes between them. Off a night flight, you can doze until the car leaves the motorway at junction 18.

No board in sight as you come through? Stay in the hall and ring the number in your confirmation email. Your chauffeur is inside the same hall and will find you quickly.

The journey

How long is the drive to Bath from Heathrow?

Allow 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes for about 100 miles. The chauffeur joins the M4 by the airport, drives west past Reading and Swindon, and leaves at junction 18 for the A46 down into Bath. On a clear road it is just under two hours.

The last stretch drops from the Cotswold edge into the valley, and the city of honey-colored stone opens below. Lansdown and the university side of town are reached a few minutes before the centre. Our England road trip with a private driver takes this road too, from the Cotswold villages to Bath.

We drive day and night, and the fare is the same at 03:00 as at noon. A late landing is the fastest run. After 22:00 the M4 empties and the steep city streets are quiet.

Yes. Enter your Bath address as the pickup and your terminal as the drop, or open the Bath to Heathrow booking form, which fills Bath in for you. The fares are in the table above, and the chauffeur drops you at the departures entrance.

Flying out? We count back from departure time: your airline check-in window, then up to 2 hours 30 minutes for the M4. Send the flight number and we confirm the pickup time in writing.

Arriving now and flying home from Heathrow after your Bath stay? Pick Return (new ride) to book both trips under one reference.

Stonehenge lies south of the M4 route, so a visit means a detour, with bags locked in the car. Ask through our contact page for a written price first. Want Bath and the stones with a driver who brings you back to London the same evening? That is the Stonehenge and Bath day trip from London.

Questions

Frequently asked questions about Heathrow to Bath and Bath to Heathrow transfers

What does a private car from Heathrow to Bath cost?

Terminal 5 to central Bath starts at £370 per car in a Mercedes E-Class. A seven-seat V-Class starts at £445. Another terminal or address changes it by a few pounds. The booking form shows your exact fare before payment.

How long does the Heathrow to Bath drive take?

Between two and 2 hours 30 minutes for about 100 miles. The route runs west on the M4 to junction 18, then down the A46 into Bath. With clear roads it is just under two hours; weekday peaks around Heathrow add up to half an hour.

Where will the chauffeur meet me, and what if my flight lands late?

Just past customs in the arrivals hall of your terminal, holding your name on a board. If the flight is late, we move the pickup to the new landing time at no cost. Waiting is free for the first 60 minutes after touchdown.

Can you drop me at a hotel in the old city or at the university?

Yes. Enter the hotel, the University of Bath campus or any other Bath address as the drop-off. Some streets around the Abbey and the Roman Baths are closed to cars, so the chauffeur stops at the nearest point and helps with the bags to the door.

Can we stop at Stonehenge on the way to Bath?

Yes, by arrangement. A stop at the stones turns the transfer into a longer booking, with the luggage locked in the car while you visit. Send the request through our contact page and we confirm the price in writing before you book.

How much is a private car from Bath to Heathrow?

Almost the same as the run in, car for car: the reverse row in the price table above lists each one. Your exact address sets the final figure in the form. We time the pickup from your flight, adding up to 2 hours 30 minutes of M4 driving to the check-in window.

Which car fits our luggage for a stay in Bath?

Count the cases first. An E-Class or S-Class takes 2 large ones and the Range Rover 4. A V-Class takes 7 cases and up to 7 people. A family with a week of bags rides to Bath together.

Are child seats included, and can I cancel?

Yes, child seats cost nothing; give the age of each child at the extras step. You can cancel free until 24 hours before pickup. Payment is by card online, and the receipt comes by email. Tripyana Ltd is a UK-licensed company — private hire operator licence PHOP950 · Company No. 16308293.
