What is included

What does a Heathrow to Oxford transfer include?

One car and one chauffeur from your Heathrow terminal to the door in Oxford. No change of vehicle on the way. Fuel, motorway mileage and the Heathrow parking are inside the fare. Four things come with every booking:

Met inside your terminal

The chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall after customs, holding a board with your name. Bags go from the belt straight into the car.

Flight tracked, waiting included

We follow the flight and time the pickup to the real landing. The first 60 minutes of waiting after touchdown are free.

Any Oxford address

A college lodge, a hotel on the High Street, a house in Summertown or the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington. The drop is where you say.

One fare for the whole car

Per car, not per person. The E-Class seats 3 with 2 large cases; the V-Class seats 7 with 7. Child seats are free.

Meeting point

Where does the chauffeur meet me at Heathrow?

Tripyana chauffeur greeting a guest with a name board in the Heathrow arrivals hall

In the public arrivals hall of your terminal, just after the customs exit. Heathrow has four terminals in use: 2, 3, 4 and 5. Give us the flight number and we read the terminal from it; you do not need to know it yourself.

Terminal 5 sits on the western edge of the airport and is the shortest run to the M25. Terminals 2 and 3 share the central area; Terminal 4 is on the south side. All four are a few minutes apart by car, so the fare barely changes between them.

If you cannot see the board when you walk out, call the number in your confirmation before leaving the hall. The chauffeur is already inside; a short call puts you together within minutes.

The journey

How long is the drive to Oxford from Heathrow?

Allow 60 to 90 minutes for about 45 miles. The chauffeur leaves Heathrow on the M25, turns onto the M40 and comes off for the A40 into the city. In free-flowing traffic the run takes just over an hour. Weekday peaks around the M25 add up to half an hour.

Oxford is closer to Heathrow than to central London, so many visitors make the university city their first stop. Headington and its hospitals, east of the centre, are reached a few minutes before the colleges.

The service runs 24 hours a day at the same fare. Overnight arrivals are the quickest of all: the motorways are empty after 22:00 and the city streets are clear.
